Indications:

Postmenopausal osteoporosis, Post-surgical hypoparathyroidism, Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism, Pseudohypoparathyroidism, vitamin D dependent rickets, Renal osteodys trophy in patients with chronic renal failure particularly those undergoing hemodialysis, Secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with moderate to severe chronic renal failure (pre-dialysis).

Increase the uptake of calcium from the gut into the blood, increases renal tubular reabsorption of calcium thus reducing the loss of calcium in the urine, promotes calcium deposition in bone by stimulating osteoblastic activity.
