Indications:

Systemic mycosis, oral candidiasis, dandruf Pityriasis versicolor etc.

Ketoconazole inhibits the fungal cytochrome P ? so enzyme 14-demethylase that inhibits the biosynthesize ergosterol in fungi and changes the composition of other components in the membrane resulting in fungal cell necrosis.
