\n \nComposition?: Injection : \n \nEach vial contains 3,00,000 units of Procaine Penicillin BP and 1,00,000 units of Benzyl Penicillin Sodium BP. \n \n  \n \nIndications?: \n \nInfection caused by Penicillin sensitive bacteria where a long acting Penicillin is required. It is indicated in-Gonorrhoea caused by Penicillin sensitive microorganisms, Prevention of endocarditis during dental procedures, Gas-gangrene following amputation etc. \n \n  \n \nDosage & Administration?: \n \nIntramuscular injection is the only route of administration of Procaine Penicillin. For administration, add 3 ml of water for injection and shake vigorously. \n \nAdults : 4,00,000 units once daily or twice daily. \n \nChildren : Over 25 kg as for adults; under 25 kg reduce proportionally. In severe cases dose may be doubled. \n \n
