Description:

Muscarinic Mi receptor antagonist.

Indications:

Gastrointestinal spasm and hyper-motility as adjuvant in PUD, spasm of esophageal & pyloric sphincter, spasm associated with carcinoma, intestinal colic, spastic constipation, irritable bowel syndrome etc.

Inhibits excessive concentration of acetylcholine at the end of parasympathetic nerves. Thus the spasm is reduced or inhibited.
