Proton Pump Inhibitor.

Indications:

Benign gastric and duodenal ulcers, NSAID- associated duodenal or gastric ulcers, Peptic ulcer associated with Gastro Helicobacter pylori, Zollinger-Elison Syndrome, esophageal reflux disease (GERD), Acid related dyspepsia.

Inhibits H-KATPase in the gastric parietal cell hence reducing HCl production.
