Presentation: Each capsule contains Yohimbine Hydrochloride 5.4 mg Description: Yohimbe is the evergreen tree grows in the jungles of West Africa, Cameroon,Congo and Gabon. The medicinal part of yohimbe is the bark & the active ingredient is Yohimbine Hydrochloride. Yocon® is a selective alpha 2-adrenoceptor blocker and a weak alpha-1 adrenergic antagonist with some anti-dopaminergic properties.Yohimbine increases neither plasma nor epinephrine levels by stimulating the rate of nor epinephrine release from sympathetic nerves. Because of the alpha-2adrenergic blockade, Yohimbine Hydrochloride is an effective treatment for sexual disorders such as decreased libido and decreased sexual response, caused by selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Side Effects: Anxiety states, elevated blood pressure, exanthema, nausea, insomnia, tachycardia, tremor and vomiting. Precautions: Patients taking Yocon should avoid alcohol ingestion. Contraindications: This drug should not be used by patients with liver and kidney diseases.
Drug Interaction: Yocon® (Yohimbine Hydrochloride) may counteract the hypotensive effect of antihypertensive medication, resulting inadequate blood pressure control. It may potentiate pharmaceutical MAO- inhibitors. Storage: Store away from direct sun light, heat & moisture. Store in cool & dry place. Do not use the drug after expiry date. Keep out of reach of children. Commercial Pack: Each box contains 15x1 Capsulesin blister pack. |
