\n \nDescription: \n \nRhitin (Ebastine) is a second generation, non-sedating, long-acting histamine antagonist with selective H1 receptor antagonist activity. After repeated administration, inhibition of peripheral receptors remains at a constant level. Ebastine is rapidly absorbed and undergoes extensive first pass metabolism following oral administration. Ebastine is almost totally converted to the pharmacologically active acid metabolite, carebastine. \n \n \n \nComposition: \n \nEach tablet contains 10 mg Ebastine BP. \n \n \n \nIndication: \n \nSeasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny nose, itching in the eyes and nose. \n \nChronic idiopathic urticaria (an allergic skin rash) such as itching, hives (localized skin redness and swelling) \n \n \n \nDosage & Administration: \n \nAllergic Rhinitis: 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily. \n \nChronic idiopathic urticaria: 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily. \n \nEbastine may be taken with or without food. \n \nOR AS DIRECTED BY THE PHYSICIAN. \n \n
