Composition : \n \nTablet : Nalidixic Acid BP 500 mg. \n \nSuspension: Nalidixic Acid BP 300 mg / 5 ml. \n \n  \n \nIndications :?Shigellosis, Salmonellosis, Acute and chronic urinary tract infections. \n \n  \n \nDosage & Administration : \n \nAdults : 2 tablets (1 g) in every 6 hours for 7 days; the dose is reduced in chronic infections to 1 tablet (500 mg) every 6 hours. \n \nChildren : Children over three months of age initial therapy is 55 mg / kg body weight / day, administered in 4 equally divided doses. For prolonged therapy, the total daily dose may be reduced to 33 mg / kg body weight /day.
