\n \nAmoxicillin Trihydrate BP \n \nComposition :?: Amoxycillin BP 125mg/5ml Suspension, 250mg / 5ml DS Suspension \n \nIndication :?Urinary tract infections : nephritis, pyelonephritis, pyelitis, cystitis, gonorrhoea and non-gonococcal urethritis. Skin and soft tissue infections : cellulitis, wounds, carbuncles and furunculosis. Gastro-intestinal infections : enteric fever, ear, nose and throat infections, meningitis. \n \nDosage and administration?: \n \nOral :?Standard adult dosage : 250mg three times daily, increasing to 500mg three times daily for more severe infections. Children (2 to 10 years) : 125mg three times daily, increasing to 250mg three times daily for more severe infection. Infants (Up to 2 years) : 62.5 - 125mg three times daily or as directed by the physician. In case of severity the dosage may safely be increased.
