\n \nMometasone Furoate \n \nComposition :?Each metered spray contains Mometasone Furoate USP 50 mcg. \n \nIndication :?This nasal spray is indicated for the treatment of the nasal symptoms of seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older. It is indicated for the prophylaxis of the nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adult and adolescent patients 12 years of age and older. It is also indicated for the treatment of nasal polyps in patients 18 years of age and older. \n \nDosage and administration :?Allergic rhinitis: Adults & children 12 years of age and older: The recommended dose for prophylaxis & treatment of the nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and treatment of the nasal symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis is 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. In patients with a known seasonal allergen that precipitates nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis, prophylaxis with this nasal spray, 50 mcg (200 mcg/day) is recommended 2 to 4 weeks prior to the anticipated start of the pollen season.
