Adrenocortical insufficiency, shock, hypersensivity reactions such as angioedema, status asthmaticus, inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatic disease.

Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by inhibitingthe enzyme phospholipase 42 thereby exerts anti-inflammatory and immu ne-suppressive effects.
