Olpadin Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml contains Olopatadine Hydrochloride USP equivalent to Olopatadine 1 mg. Olpadin DS Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml contains Olopatadine Hydrochloride USP equivalent to Olopatadine 2 mg.

Olopatadine selectively blocks histamine H1 receptor and stabilizes mast cells. Thus, it prevents histamine binding to its receptors and inhibits mast cell degranulation & histamine release.

Olpadin & Olpadin DS are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of allergic conditions of the anterior segment of the eye.

Olpadin Sterile Eye Drops: Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily. Olpadin DS Sterile Eye Drops: Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) once daily.

Contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Olopatadine Hydrochloride or any other component of the preparation.

For ophthalmic use only. Instillation of eye drops may cause transient blurring of vision. Caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery if blurred vision is experienced.

Headache, blurred vision, burning or stinging, cold syndrome, foreign body sensation, hyperaemia, nausea and pharyngitis.

Olopatadine has low drug interaction potential as systemic levels of Olopatadine achieved after ocular dosing are negligible.

Use in pregnancy: There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Olopatadine should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Use in lactation: It is not known whether Olopatadine passes into breast milk. However, caution should be exercised when Olopatadine is administered to a nursing mother.
