\n \nCefadroxil Monohydrate USP \n \nComposition :?Cefadroxil USP 500mg Capsule. \n \nIndication :?Cefadroxil is indicated for the treatment of patients with urinary tract infection caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella species. Skin and skin structure infections caused by staphylococci, Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis caused by streptococcus pyogenes (Group A betahemolytic streptococci). \n \nDosage and administration :?Administered orally and with food. Adults : Urinary Tract Infections : The usual dosage is 1gm (2 capsules) or 2gm (4-capsules) per day in single or divided doses. Skin and Skin Structure Infections : The usual dosage is 1gm (2 capsules) per day in single or divided doses. Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis : The usual dosage is 1gm (2 capsules) per day in single or divided doses. For urinary tract infections, the recommended daily dosage for children is 30mg/kg/day in divided doses every 12 hours. \n \nUse in pregnancy and lactation :?Cefadroxil has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. \n \nPacking :?Sefanid Capsule : 5's x10 capsules in blister pack. \n \n
