Visible light Protection Properties

As a protector against visible light we have incorporated in our formula an original synthetic melanin. This synthetic, fractionated melanin is tailored to absorb in the violet/blue range of 400-500 nm.

Infrared Protection Properties

In Biotopix PHOTO PROTECT® products we have opted for a biotechnical product obtained from the culture of Thermus Thermophilus. TT extract fights IR-induced damage: lessens the inflammatory conditions, improves hydration and maintains dermal architecture in order to limit wrinkle formation.

DNA Repair

The extract used in Biotopix PHOTO PROTECT® products is an extract of the leaves of the candle bush which activates the cells self-defense system and thus reduces the extent of DNA damage by:
– Supporting the natural repairing capacity of the cell when necessary.
– Preventing fine lines and wrinkles due to UV exposure with an effect readily perceivable by the end user.
